N-gram: What I saw

So I first decided to look up anarchy and apocalypse because of P.B. Shelleys “The Mask of Anarchy”.  I wanted to see how often it was used, first, in British English (2009) and then in Spanish (2008) just for fun. And also romanticism and romantic together then just romanticism by itself in the same British English language. You can see the results below and the two charts are so different. The Spanish graph is just all over the place. Theres a big spike in between 1800-1820 and its so odd. And theres just one book thats listed when you click on the link thats provided to look up the books referring to that term in google books. Which is a great feature that I didn’t notice before. So it really helps narrow down the search for documents that use the words you look up to the specific time period. So its just not randomly, hidden, compiled data. The information is provided for you to sift through.

I sort of assumed the trend lines for anarchy and apocalypse will intersect a lot because I assumed that the two words coincide together but that was not the case so thats interesting.
